The Old Town Meow

You're a cat running a small stand at annual Christmas markets with beverages like hot wine, how mead and coffee. Your goal is to serve as many customers as you can in one minute.

This is my submission to Cozy Winter Jam 2023.

Controls

• Arrows - Movement.
• SPACE - Take a beverage from the closest tank.
• "x" key - Discard all beverages you're holding.

Gameplay

Walk to a tank and press SPACE to take a beverage to your inventory, then walk to a customer with a bubble with the same drink above their head. You can hold up to three beverages at a time. By pressing "x" key you'll clear your inventory.

About

This is my first submission to a game jam in 15 years and my first online game jam ever. I spent Friday evening and then whole Saturday and Sunday coding this game in PixiJS, TypeScript and RxJS. This is also the second working game I've ever made since 2005.

My best score is 47.

The sequence of customers and their desired drink is preset so you can optimize your play.
